A quiet conclusion to a standoff with a suspect who fired a shot at Sheriff's Deputies in Spartanburg County. Officials say nobody was hurt and the suspect was taken in custody. A SWAT team was dispatched to the home on Birch Lane in Roebuck shortly before 9PM, Tuesday night.
Deputies who had been called about a domestic incident say 45 year old, Robert Taylor Morrow fired a shot inside the house when the asked him to come to the door and talk to them.
A shelter-in-place order was issued for the neighborhood. The standoff lasted about two hours before Morrow surrendered. A shotgun and pistol were found int he house. He's being held at the Spartanburg County Detention Center pending a bond hearing.
Because of the gunshot and the number of Deputies involved, he's charged with multiple counts of attempted murder in addition to aggravated domestic violence, resisting arrest with assault, and a weapons violation.
