The suspect in custody after a shooting in North Georgia last weekend that left three people hospitalized has now been identified.

As we previously reported, the Hart County Sheriff's Office responded around 1:30AM Sunday to a report of shots fired on Nancy Hart School Road. When deputies arrived, they discovered a large gathering and found two people suffering from gunshot wounds. A 3rd victim had already left the scene and was headed to the hospital prior to deputies arriving on scene.

The Sheriff's Office says two victims were transported to Anmed Hospital, were treated and have since been released. A 3rd victim, a reportedly pregnant woman, was airlifted to Greenville Memorial, where she remains and is said to be in stable condition.

The Georgia State Patrol and GBI agents arrested 19 year old Tyler Avant Carter in connection to the shooting around 4:30 yesterday afternoon.

Carter is charged with two counts of aggravated assault, attempted murder, attempted feticide, aggravated battery and multiple weapons violations.
