A suspect is in custody after a fatal shooting in Greenville County, earlier this week. As we previously reported, the Greenville County Sheriff's Office responded to the home on Confederate Circle in Taylors just after 10PM, Wednesday night.
The victim later identified as Joseph Barker died after being transported to the hospital. His roommate, 47 year old Frederick Bernard Williams was then taken into custody. Investigators say Williams show Barker after an ongoing conflict.
Williams is charged with murder, possession of meth and multiple weapons violations. He's being held without bond at the Greenville County Jail.
