An Upstate woman is in custody after a shooting Tuesday that left one person wounded. The Pickens County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported shooting at a home on Tankersley Drive in Central. When Deputies arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the back.
The victim was airlifted to an area hospital, there's been no word on his condition. The victim and neighbors identified the shooter as Jonie Ann Bridwell. She was taken into custody on charges of Attempted Murder and a Weapons Violation. Bridwell is being held without bond at the Pickens County Jail.
