A standoff in Anderson County Thursday evening, ended with a suspect in custody. Deputies were called to a home on Severn Street in the Homeland Park community south of Anderson, regarding a domestic called just before 6PM Thursday.
When Deputies arrived, the suspect refused to cooperate, prompting the Sheriff's office to send negotiators and SWAT. The suspect, William Bailey, eventually surrendered without incident.
Bailey is charged with pointing and presenting a firearm, resisting arrest and 3rd degree domestic violence .
