A Seneca man is behind bars after a domestic dispute led to a shooting over the weekend. 35 year old, Alteno Jeroid Oglesby was booked Sunday morning on charges of attempted murder, a weapons violation and placing a child at risk.
The charges come after Oconee County deputies responded to a reported shooting on White Oak Hill Drive in Seneca, late Saturday night. While en route deputies learned that a woman suffered injuries in the shooting and was being taken to the hospital in a private vehicle.
Deputies arrived on scene and then took Oglesby into custody. Investigators say the woman was shot in the chest and the incident took place while a child and two teenagers were in the home.
