The Greenwood County Coroner's Office is investigating the discovery of a man's body Wednesday evening. The man was found at the intersection of Cokesbury Street and Durst Avenue in the Grendel Village community of Greenwood.
The Coroner's Office identified the victim as 43 year-old Demetrous Childs of Greenwood. The Greenwood Police say Childs and his room mate 43 year old Charlie Mon'Ta Adams were involved in an altercation when, Adams stabbed Childs with a knife.
Adams has been charged with murder and possession of weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
