Authorities have released more details after a fatal shooting at a North Georgia High School, Wednesday morning. The GBI Says four people are dead and 9 more were injured during the shooting at Apalachee High in Winder.
The Barrow County Sheriff's Office was the first agency to respond to the scene around 1030AM. Reports of an active shooter prompted a lockdown of the school. Students were evacuated to the school's football stadium.
The GBI reports that the suspect is on custody and was taken alive. Officials have not released the identity of the suspect, as of the time of this report.
