The suspect in a pedestrian death in downtown Greer late Sunday night has been identified. 40-year-old Kenneth Ashley Williams was struck Sunday night on Trade Street in downtown Greer after being struck by a vehicle. They died at the scene.
The driver, now identified as Amy Marie Holcomb, was taken into custody. Holcomb was reported as having glassy eyes, slurred speech and smelling of alcohol.
A test found she had a blood alcohol level of 0.13 percent, well above the .08 percent limit. Holcomb has been charged with felony DUI.
