
A North Carolina man caught in Cobb County Georgia will spend the rest of his life behind bars for a deadly shooting. Investigators with the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office spent several weeks looking into Delarrion Laquone Goode after receiving reports he shot Daryl Jamichael Price.
Goode was tracked to Cobb County Georgia and arrested. Deputies said he was attempting to create a new identity for himself. After the arrest, Investigators learned Goode fatally shot Price during a drug deal, gone bad.
Price's body laid in a car for a day before his body was dumped in a secluded area of Rutherford County. Goode was convicted of first degree murder, earlier this month.
Goode has been sentenced to life in prison, without the possibility of parole.
