The identity of a man shot and killed in an officer-involved shooting Monday on the campus of Spartanburg Methodist College has been released. Coroner Rusty Clevenger, with Spartanburg County, identified the deceased Thursday, as 48 year old Victor Roblero.
He was identified by fingerprints from the National Crime Information Center. A SLED investigation revealed Roblero was pulled over by a Campus Security Officer after driving the wrong way on a one way street. Roblero was shot during a fight with the Security Officer, who was armed.
No students were on campus at the time of the shooting as Spartanburg Methodist College was closed for winter break.
