A suspect is injured following what has been described as an self inflicted gunshot wound, after allegedly shooting at law enforcement. A Laurens County Deputy responded to a domestic disturbance at a home on Torrington Road near the Laurens County Airport, early Friday morning
The suspect who has not yet been identified reportedly came out of the home and began shooting at the deputy, upon arrival. The deputy was not injured, however bullets did hit their patrol vehicle.
The Sheriff's Office says, the suspect later shot themselves and was taken to a hospital for treatment. Charges against the suspect are said to be still pending, as of the time of this report.
