Spartanburg Police are investigating an attempted murder by a man with a knife. Around 4AM Monday morning, officers responded to a 911 call regarding a stabbing at an apartment complex on Pine Needle Drive.
Upon arrival, Officers found a woman with multiple stab wounds on the floor of an apartment. She was taken to a hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
Witnesses told authorities, 35 year old Jovon Lupa Johnson was the assailant. Johnson is wanted for Assault/Attempted Murder, Assault and Battery 1st Degree, and Possession of Weapon During a Violent Crime.
