The suspect is now in custody after a search that prompted a shelter-in-place request for residents in part of Greenville County. The U.S. Marshal's were attempting to serve a warrant on a suspect named Deisean Pitts.

He was wanted for unlawfully carrying a gun and for questioning in another crime. When Marshals saw him and attempted a traffic stop, Pitts reportedly exited the vehicle and ran into the woods near Crawford Glen Court in Greenville County.
The search prompted two schools, Greenville Middle Academy and East North Academy to be placed on a brief hold, that has since been lifted.
K-9 units were brought in to track Pitts, the manhunt ended when Marshalls took him into custody, Wednesday afternoon.
