A suspect who was wanted in both the Upstate and the Lowcountry is now in custody in Greenville County on a lost of charges.
The Sheriff's Office says, Darrin Bryant was taken into custody on Sulphur Springs Road in Greenville. Officials say he had active warrants in both Pickens and Marlboro Counties.
Bryant was located in Greenville after reportedly fleeing from Pickens County deputies. Investigators report that Bryant was found with nearly 6 ounces of meth, half a dozen pills and financial documents belonging to other people.
Bryant was taken into custody and is charged with trafficking meth, assault on an officer while resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance, identity theft and multiple other charges.
