An Upstate teenager has been charged with bringing a gun onto the school bus and making threats. As we previously reported, the Oconee County Sheriff's Office launched an investigation after a School Resource Officer was notified that a student may have had a gun on the bus.
Investigators say the 15 year old boy is being charged with multiple weapons violations and for making threats.
The suspect is a minor so his identity has not been released, the Sheriff's Office says he's been transported to the Juvenile Justice Facility in Columbia.
