A teenager is dead after a weekend shooting in Greenville County. Deputies responded just before 8:30 PM Saturday to a report of gunshots in the area of North Franklin Road.
Upon arrival, a teenage boy was found after being shot. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died. The Greenville County Coroner's Office has identified the victim as 16 year old, Hans Jaiden Thompson.
No arrests have been announced, as of the time of this report. The shooting remains under investigation.
