A repeat theft offender, out on bond, was easy to catch after he broke into a Belton Highway business Saturday night, April 27, 2024.
Deputies with the Anderson County Sheriff's Office caught up to the suspect rather quickly after he ransacked Larry's Used Cars ... because he was wearing an ankle monitor.
The suspect, identified as Dane Cheek, was seen on surveillance video busting into the business then taking off in a stolen Honda Sport.

Deputies used the ankle monitor to track Cheek, and found him off McCombs Street. He's been charged with burglary, larceny and firearm possession.

Cheek is no stranger to the law according to the Sheriff's Office, he was out on bond for three other recent burglary charges.
