Firefighters called to a home outside of Charleston, uncover pounds of fentanyl.

Deputies with the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office were requested after firefighters cleared a smoke filled home and found several bags of different color powders. Suspected to be narcotics, the Drug Enforcement Unit was then called in.

Responding Detectives confirmed the powder, field-tested presumptive for Fentanyl. 40 year old Dietra Drayton, who lived at the home, was detained while Detectives executed a search warrant.
