Multiple arrests have now been announced following the shooting death of an Upstate teenager. The Greenville County Sheriff's Office says, three teenage suspects have been arrested for the fatal shooting of 17 year old, Antwon Mario Suggs of Greer. The shooting happened Monday Afternoon on Mulberry Street in Greenville's Southernside Community.
One of the suspects is being charged as an adult. He's been identified as 17 year old, Nigel Makale Edmunds of Greenville. The other suspects are 15 and 16 years old, their identities have not been released due to them being minors. Edmunds is being held in the Greenville County Jail. The other suspects have been transported to the DJJ facility in Columbia.
Investigators say, the suspect shot Suggs while they were trying to rob him and another person. All three suspects have been charged with Murder, Attempted Murder, Attempted Armed Robbery and multiple weapons charges.
