U.S. Senator from South Carolina now turned Presidential hopeful Tim Scott was in the Upstate for a visit Wednesday. Scott met with veterans during a campaign stop in Greenville.

Scott comes from a military family and spoke about how his father and brothers served for over 80 years combined. Scott said he's underwhelmed with how veterans are treated and said, if elected, one of his top priorities is to improve services to veterans.

Scott also discussed his viewpoint on the Israel-Hamas conflict. Scott said "We need a President whose response is simple. Wipe Hamas off the face of the map, and do not get in the way of Israel finishing that task, and never think you can negotiate with terrorists".
