A U.S. Congressman from the Upstate who is embroiled in a heated primary race has picked up another endorsement. 4th District Incumbent William Timmons is being endorsed by South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson.
Timmons and Wilson serve together in the South Carolina National Guard. Wilson's announcement comes after former President Donald Trump has endorsed Timmons in his bid for re-election.
His perceived top challenger in the Primary Adam Morgan is being endorsed by Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz and Greenville County Sheriff Hobart Lewis. Last week at a Sheriff's candidate forum Lewis said he was endorsing Morgan because "Timmons has been a major disappointment".
