A traffic stop puts a dent in drug trafficking in one Upstate county. The Anderson County Sheriff's Office says that a driver ran a stop sign and was then pulled over.

Deputies recognized the driver, Roy Freeman from a prior incident in which he ran from them on foot. Freeman admitted there was a gun in the car, although he isn't legally allowed to possess one.

Deputies then searched the vehicle and found nearly 14 ounces of meth, a gun and thousands of dollars in cash. Freeman is charged with trafficking meth, possession of a controlled substance and a weapons violation.
