Trial for suspect in 2018 Upstate murder case set to start Monday

The trial of a man accused in a fatal Upstate shooting , five years ago is expected to start, Monday. Seuvarrgio Senwuez Rector is charged with murder, kidnapping, and conspiracy following the 2018 shooting death of victim Hall Eskew.

Another suspect was also charged in the case however, the charges against Harrison Christopher Gregory were dropped back in 2021. Eskew/s body was found near a set of railroad tracks in Spartanburg County, the same day he was reported missing.

The victim was the brother of former presidential cabinet member Tucker Eskew, who served as Deputy Assistant For Media Affairs and Communications under George W. Bush.
