A TV News Anchor from the Upstate has been charged with child sex crimes. The South Carolina Attorney General's Office says Matt Vereen is charged with two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
Vereen is from the Greenville area, but has been working for WACH Fox 57 in Columbia. The station has placed him on suspension pending the investigation. The AG's Office says Vereen possessed and distributed child pornography.
