Two adults dead and a child injured after crash in WNC

The two drivers are dead and a child is injured after a head on collision in Western North Carolina. The North Carolina Highway Patrol says the crash happened just after 1 PM Monday on Highway 19 near the Haywood-Buncombe County line.

Troopers say the driver of the truck was ejected and both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck has been identified 37 year old, Harry Joseph Marker of Charlotte. The driver was of the SUV was identified as 57 year old, Melissa Anderson Luther of Candler, North Carolina.

The Highway Patrol says an 8 year old child in the SUV was injured and was transported to the hospital. There's been no update on the child's condition.
