Two people are facing charges after a fatal shooting at a Spartanburg park. On the afternoon of July 2nd, the Spartanburg City Police Department responded to a reported shooting at Adams Park.
Upon arrival, officers found a man dead at the scene. The deceased was identified as 37 year old, Krist Roker. Now, two suspects 34 year old Jason Randall Jurs and 27 year old, Natalie Alexis Hudson have been charged in the case.
Investigators say the two lured Roker to the park in an effort to kidnap him and that led to the shooting. Jurs is charged with murder and both suspects are charged with kidnapping or conspiracy to commit kidnapping.
