Two people are in custody after a shooting at Upstate gas station. The Anderson County Sheriff's Office responded to the QT on Pearman Dairy Road around 8PM, Wednesday night.
Upon arrival, Deputies found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. Investigators say the victim arrived at a home on Dunhill Road in Anderson and was hit in the head with a blunt object and was then tied up.
The two suspects, identified as 27 year old, Donovan Williford and 22 year old, Chianna Burgos allegedly drove the victim to the QT to use his ATM card to withdraw cash. When the victim tried to escape the vehicle, he was then shot.
Both suspects are charged with armed robbery and kidnapping. Williford is also charged with aggravated assault and a weapons violation. The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries and is expected to make a full recovery.
