Two suspects are in custody after a drug bust in Oconee County, Monday afternoon. The Oconee County Sheriff's Office says they began investigating after a number of complaints about drug activity at a home in Seneca.
The Sheriff's Office then had undercover operatives make controlled buys. 59 year old, Timothy Jason Hird was taken into custody after drugs were seized from a home on Keoway Drive and a storage unit on Old Clemson Highway.
Hird was arrested for trafficking meth, morphine and cocaine, possession of a controlled substance, multiple weapons violations and other charges. Another suspect, 62 year old Ralph Edward Barnes of Easley was arrested on four counts of possession of a controlled substance.
