Two people are behind bars in Oconee County on drug trafficking charges. The Oconee County Sheriff's Office says 48 year old, Steve Allen Broach of Seneca and 49 year old, Patricia Linda Alexander of Starr were arrested Tuesday for trafficking meth.

The two were arrested on Padgett Street in Seneca's Utica Mill Hill neighborhood. Deputies say they spotted Alexander's truck in the area and stopped the vehicle. Deputies say a strong smell of marijuana was coming from the truck. A subsequent search of the vehicle turned up over 47 grams of meth. Currently both suspects are in custody at the Oconee County Detention Center.
