A large amount of drugs has been taken off the streets following a bust in Spartanburg County. Sheriff's Office Lt. Kevin Bobo says Deputies responded to a home in Wellford in late March, and found drugs and guns during a search.
After testing was completed on the drugs, formal charges were brought against 33 year old, Marcus Allen Wright of Wellford and 32 year old, Christopher Preston Young II of Spartanburg.
The search turned up nearly an ounce of Meth, 10 grams of Cocaine, 4 grams of MDMA, 15 Hydrocodone pills, nearly 4 ounces of Fentanyl, and over 8 pounds of Marijuana. Both Wright and Young are charged with Trafficking Fentanyl, Meth and Cocaine and Possession With Intent To Distribute MDMA, Hydrocodone and Marijuana. As well as charges for Weapons Violations. The Sheriff's Office says Wright is in custody but Young remains at large. Young was originally arrested and booked for just the Marijuana, he posted bond and has been at large since.
