Two suspects are in custody after a recent fatal shooting at a party in the Upstate. The Anderson Police Department responded to a reported shooting around 3AM the morning of July 22nd, in the area of Gadsen and West Hampton Streets.
Upon arrival, officers found 26 year old, Derrick Wiley suffering multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital and later died there.
Now two suspects, Jiyion Mattison and Teondez Crocker have been charged in connection the shooting. Both are charged with murder and a weapons violation.
Investigators say, that the shooting happened at a party that the three men were attending.
