The Pickens County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that left two people dead. Tuesday night around 9PM, 9-1-1 dispatchers got a call from a woman saying someone had a gun pointed at her, but the call ended abruptly and attempts to call back were unanswered.
When deputies arrived, they heard a gunshot from inside the Edens Road home. When they entered, they found a man and woman suffering from gunshot wounds with a weapon beside the man.
Deputies believe it was that woman that called 9-1-1. The woman was dead at the scene, the man died before he could be taken to a hospital. No other details have been released.
