The South Carolina Highway Patrol says two people are dead after a weekend crash involving a tractor trailer. The fatal collision happened around 9:30 Sunday morning on Whitehorse Rd near Danhardt Street about 4 miles south of Greenville.
Master Trooper Gary Miller reports that a Mercury Sedan was traveling North on Whitehorse Road when it crossed the centerline and hit a tractor trailer head on. The driver of the tractor trailer was not injured in the collision, both the driver and passenger died in the crash. The Greenville County Coroner's Office has yet to release the identities of the two people that were killed.
