Two separate crashes in the Upstate over the weekend, resulted in fatalities. The first fatal crash happened around 3:45 Saturday afternoon in Spartanburg County. The two vehicle collision happened on Little Mountain Road and Hampton Road. The Highway Patrol says the driver of a Buick Sedan attempted to enter Little Mountain Road from Hampton Road and was hit by a Ford Truck. The driver of the Buick was injured and taken to Spartanburg Regional, a passenger in he Buick died in the collision.
The second fatal crash happened on Highway 14 just west of Simpsonville around 11:45 Saturday night. The Highway Patrol says the single vehicle collision happened when the driver of a Toyota sedan ran off the road and hit a tree. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, The Highway Patrol did not identify the deceased in either collision.
