Two dozen shots fired at WNC apartment complex

An investigation is ongoing after two dozen shots were fired at a Western North Carolina apartment complex. The Asheville Police Department responded to the Pisgah View Apartments on Granada Street, Monday night.

Investigators say, 24 shell casings were found at the scene. The casings were from guns of various different calibers. Live rounds of ammo were also found hidden under a bush at the complex.

No injuries were reported but damage was found on two vehicles at the scene. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Asheville Police Department 828-252-1110.
