The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of two elderly people found Wednesday morning, in the front yard of a home on North Wingate Road in the Gantt Community.
A Sheriff's office media release reports both individuals sustained what is believed to be gunshot wounds, and a firearm was located on the scene.
The Greenville County Coroner's Office has identified the victims as Webster Stanley Jones and his wife Catherine Knight Jones, who were both 84 years old. The manner of death for the couple has not yet been released and there's no further details regarding the incident, as this time.
