Two pedestrain were killed in seperate collision Thursday evening in the upstate.
The first fatality occured in Greenville County just before 6:50PM on Bruce Road about 2 miles south of Berea. The driver of 2002 Jeep crossed the center line and struck a pedestrain in the roadway, who later died at a hospital.
The second fatal collision was in Anderson County on US 29 about a half mile west of Anderson just before 7:30PM Thursday. The driver of a 2004 Jeep hit a pedstrian in the roadway. The impact threw the victim into the path of 2001 Mercedes, which also struck the pedestrian, who died at the scene.
Both of those collisions remain under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
