Two people are dead following a weekend shooting in Western North Carolina. Officers responded to the Lee Garden Apartments in Asheville, around 4:15 Sunday afternoon.

Upon arrival , they found a man and a woman that had been shot to death. The Buncombe County Coroner's Office has identified the victims as, 32 year old David Jerome Owen and 28 year old Sabrina Ann Black.
The incident remains under investigation by the Asheville Police Department.
