Two Upstate men have been sentenced to prison after a 2019 shooting in Cherokee County. 34 year old, J.W. Miller III entered guilty pleas to charges of attempted murder and two weapons violations.
He was sentenced to 20 years for attempted murder and was given 10 years for the two weapons charges.

Miller's co-defendant, 29 year old Randall Armstrong, pleaded guilty last month. Armstrong was sentenced to 12 years for his role in the Attempted Murder and was given five years for a weapons violation.
The charges stem from an incident in which Miller shot a man in the head at an apartment complex in Gaffney.
