Two separate fatal shooting in Greenville County are under investigation. Officials have identified the man shot to death in his Greenville home Friday night. The Greenville County Coroner’s Office says 28 year old, Demarcus Anerio Martin died after he was shot multiple times. The Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported shooting Martin’s home on Loop Street in Greenville. Reportedly, Martin was found dead by family members. Investigators believe Martin was involved in some sort of fight with one or more people.
In a separate shooting incident , A 20 year old man is dead following a shooting in Simpsonville. Greenville County Coroner Parks Evans says 20 year old, Elijah Lee Thornton was found shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at a Simpsonville home Friday night. Evans says, Thornton was shot to death following a fight with another person.
No arrests have been announced in either case, as of the time of this report. Both shootings remain under investigation. No suspect information has been released in either incident.
