Police are investigating after two shootings in as many days in one Upstate town. The Gaffney Police Department is working two shooting cases that have happened there since Tuesday. One shooting was fatal and the victim in the 2nd incident was hospitalized. Police in Gaffney say the two shootings are not related, but they are urging the community to stop the violence.

34 year old, Quentin McDowell was killed Tuesday following a shooting at Limestone Court Apartments in Gaffney. Police are looking for the alleged shooter, 21 year old Rayjohn Watts. He's wanted for murder and a Weapons violation. The Gaffney PD says another suspect in that case, 20 year old Deona Davis has been arrested and charged as an accessory in connection to McDowell's death.


A 2nd shooting happened in Gaffney, Wednesday afternoon. The victim was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries. A suspect in that case is in custody. Police say Tre'vion Bates faces a charge of Attempted Murder stemming from the shooting.
