Two high school football players from Western North Carolina have died after a 4 wheeler crash over the weekend. The North Carolina Highway Patrol says the crash happened early Sunday morning in Transylvania County. Troopers report that a Polaris 4 wheeler hit a tree and both teenagers were ejected.
The two teens were pronounced dead at the scene. They have been identified as Jayden Reynaldo and Layne Jones. Both were Juniors at Rosman High School and played for the Tiger Football program.
