Greenwood police say two women found shot to death in a car early Monday were victims of domestic violence.
A suspect identified as Cassius Marcello Broadwater, Jr., is charged with two counts of murder and possession of a weapon in a violent crime.
The bodies of 23-year-old Ariel Mikeyuna Beeks and 22-year-old Kyndall Ayanna Curry were found in a car parked on Jones Street.around 2 AM Monday morning.
Neighbors told police they had heard shouting, then gunshots in the area. Investigators say Broadwater had been arguing with one of the victims. He was the father of her child. The other woman had been sitting in the car with her when they were shot.
