The underbelly of drug trafficking was exposed in the Upstate over the weekend, but it happened in the most unconventional way possible. The Anderson County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on a vehicle on I-85, over the weekend.

Deputies noticed during the traffic stop that a woman in the vehicle appeared to be pregnant. They became suspicious when the two suspects, Cemeka Mitchem and Anthony Miller gave conflicting information on her due date.

As officers became more suspicious, Mitchem took off running and exposed that she was wearing a rubber belly and was not actually pregnant. Drugs fell from the belly, Deputies say they recovered over 1500 grams of cocaine.
