
An Upstate man is facing charges after allegedly making a bomb threat over the weekend. The Union County Sheriff's Office says, 44 year old Michael Chad Maness of Jonesville told a worker at a gas station there he had a bomb in his car.

Maness then reportedly walked away leaving his car at the gas pump around 8:30 Saturday morning. A SLED Bomb Unit was called to the scene, no bomb was found in the vehicle. Maness faces charges of making a bomb threat and drug possession.
