Agents with SLED charged Jaeyeong (Jay - yong) Yoo, a 23 year old foreign national, with Kidnapping and Criminal Sexual Conduct – Third Degree on Sunday.
The SLED investigation was requested by the Presbyterian College Campus Police Department in Laurens County.
Arrest warrants say Yoo grabbed a person by the arm and would not let them leave the residence hall on Saturday and he also committed an act of sexual battery on Friday.
Yoo was booked at the Laurens County Detention Center and will be prosecuted by the 8th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
