Upstate High School Football coach arrested during game

A high school football coach from the Upstate is facing charges after being arrested after the game. The Inman Police Department says Torrion Cameron Stevenson, a member of the coaching staff at Mountain View Prep was taken into custody at halftime of their game against Chapman, Friday night.

Police say an incident between Stevenson and an officer at the game led to the arrest. Stevenson is charged with disorderly conduct and assault. Details concerning the incident have not been made public. Mountain View outscored Chapman 21-6 after the arrest and won the game 27-9.

Officials at Mountain View Prep say they will leg the legal system run its course, but didn't comment further.
