An investigation is ongoing after an Upstate house fire, early this morning. The Greer Fire Department responded to a reported fire at a home on Cosmos Lane around 5:15 and firefighters found smoke coming from the front of the house.
Fire Department Officials say, once on scene crews conducted searches and found people inside, luckily no injuries were reported. Fire crews were able to get the blaze under control in about 10 minutes.
Personnel from the public works department responded to help secure the utilities at the home. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. The Fire Marshal's Office says the blaze remains under investigation.
