It's a story as old as Kane and Abel, as a dispute between brothers resulted in a shooting in the Upstate that left one injured and another behind bars.
The Pickens County Sheriff's Office responded just after 230, Friday afternoon to the 200 block of Georgetown Road near Easley. Upon arrival, Deputies found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was transported to the hospital and is said to be in stable condition after surgery. The suspect, 23 year old Kevon Nykell Tabron was arrested and is charged with attempted murder and a weapons violation.
Investigators say the two brothers were in a fight prior to the shooting.
